South Africa is one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world with a landscape that displays of some the most beautiful natural formations imaginable. As a country it also offers one of the largest arrays of wildlife in the modern age, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations available.
Whether visiting to experience the variety of cultures, the stunning landscapes or the pristine beaches South Africa has something to offer people of all ages and nationalities.
South Africa is a very diverse country with land covering 1.2 million square kilometres. It is split into 9 different provinces (Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Free State, North West, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal) and has 11 national languages. English is spoken in nearly every part of South Africa.
There are three capital cities in South Africa; Cape Town (legislative capital), Bloemfontein (judicial capital) and Pretoria (administrative capital).
