7 Night SCUBA Diving and Safari Experience
Introduction

This trip is perfectly tailored to suit guests wishing to explore one the greatest SCUBA diving sites in the world, safari at some of the most stunningly beautiful natural wildlife sites available and don’t necessarily have a lot of time to spare.

The trip begins with 4 nights at Sodwana Bay Dive Lodge, where you will experience SCUBA diving to rival the very best in the world – the dive sites at Sodwana Bay have a more diverse array of marine life than the Great Barrier Reef.

There is also a very good chance of seeing a variety of different sharks here, adding even more magic to the adventure of diving in this region. Sharks that are known to frequent the area include ragged tooth sharks, whale sharks, tiger sharks and occasionally even great whites. The marine life here also includes countless species of fish, eels, turtles, rays and octopuses, as well as some spectacular coral formations.

After having fully experienced the beauty and diversity of SCUBA diving at Sodwana Bay you will move on to spend the remaining 3 nights of the trip at Hilltop Camp in Hluhluwe Game Reserve, passing the time spotting game and observing nature at its very best. Experienced field guides will take you into the bush in open topped safari vehicles and allow you to experience nature as intimately as feasible whilst teaching you how to interpret different animals’ behaviour as effectively as possible. Hluhluwe is a Big 5 reserve (and therefore contains lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) set atop one of the largest hills in the area, and is specifically famous for its white rhino population. It is one of the best parks to visit in South Africa for its flora, birdlife and numerous smaller but incredibly interesting animal species. You can end each day watching the golden sun setting behind the stunning mountain backdrop whilst indulging in an evening drink, taking in the moment and hoping that it lasts forever.
