Smaller animals can be spotted within the camp perimeters, and to see to the larger game either game drives or game viewing from horse back are offered.

Game drives are included in the price of the trip and allow game spotting in the reserve from an open game vehicle. These expeditions are taken by a qualified field guide and provide close encounters with numerous different species of animals and birds, which the guide will be able to identify and then interpret their behaviour. Game drives are taken during the early morning and late afternoon or evening, as this is when the animals are most active and more easily spotted.

Game viewing in the reserve from horseback gives a truly unique experience to be treasured, and allows visitors to get even closer to the animals without disturbing them. Horse rides are not included in the packages but can be booked from the early morning through to late afternoon on request. These horse rides currently (as of February 2009) cost R220 per person and take around two hours.

Please note that children under the age of 6 years old are not allowed in the open topped safari vehicles.
