Ponieskrantz Stables offers guests the chance to explore the Escarpment on horseback, with the choice of daily or overnight camping rides.
TGME Golf Course offers golfers a challenging course with shared greens.
Village walking trails have been mapped out for those who want to explore the historic town at their own pace. These maps can be picked up from the Central Information Office.
There is a Printing Museum in the town which offers visitors a glimpse into the history of the printing industry in Pilgrim’s Rest, and includes some historical front pages of the local publications.
Joubert Bridge, built in 1896, can be seen and enjoyed at the western entrance to the town.
Drezden Shop and House Museum allows visitors to explore and witness the lifestyle of the town’s original general dealer residents.
For those interested in historical architecture the local churches will be of interest. Available to visit are the Sacred Heart Church, St. Mary’s Church, the Methodist Church and the Dutch Reformed Church.
Outside of the town the main attraction is the Panorama Route, which takes in the local Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Bourke’s Potholes, all of which you will see on your trip with Surf and Turf Safaris.
