Pilgrim's Rest Accommodation

The accommodation in Pilgrim’s rest is at one of South Africa’s best known hotels, and has been restored to reflect the late Victorian style that is so characteristic of Pilgrim’s Rest. The Hotel consists of ten buildings dating back to the late 1800s, and all of the rooms are en suite. The rooms are furnished with antique brass beds, wash stands, Victorian furniture, as well as Victorian baths and fixtures. There are no TVs or radios in the rooms as they would detract from the Victorian experience.

The Hotel restaurant is informal and is also decorated in the spirit and in keeping with the rest of the building, serving old fashioned meals. Please note that dinner is not included in the price of the trip. Also available for enjoyment in the hotel is the comfortable lounge and famous public bar, where you can relax with a drink of your choice.

The Hotel is arguably the focal point of Pilgrim’s Rest, ideally situated so that guests can enjoy the many sights of the area during the day and then relax in old fashioned comfort and delight in the evenings.
