The accommodation in Gansbaai is at a beautiful 4 star guest house that is highly recommended by locals, film crews (Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC and more) and internationally acclaimed photographers alike.

The rooms are lovely spacious twins or doubles, with an en suite bathroom complete with bath and sometimes a shower too, coffee making facilities, a separate lounge and a private veranda to enjoy the stunning sunsets. All rooms come with colour DSTV, radio alarm clocks, electric blankets and plug in heaters for winter, ceiling fans, hair dryers, a safe and complimentary toiletries. The rooms are serviced once a day and a same day laundry service is available (laundry is not included in the price of the trip). There is a pool available at all times for guest house residents only.

Breakfast is included in the price and consists of a full cooked English breakfast, as well as a buffet of cheeses, cereals, and yoghurts etc. Dinner can be enjoyed at the fully licensed guest house restaurant where specialities include freshly caught fish on the day. Please note that dinner is not included in the price of the trip. There are also numerous good quality restaurants within easy walking distance of the lodge, please ask at reception for their recommendations. The guest house also offers an on-site pub open only to residents where you can enjoy an evening drink, including many wines from the local area.

There is an area near reception that receives Wifi so you can check your email if you bring your laptop and connection equipment.

There are stunning white sandy beaches within easy reach of the guest house, offering entertainment for sunbathers, photographers, swimmers (although the water can be cold), fishermen and rock pool enthusiasts.
