Introduction

Often listed as one of the top 10 dive sites in the world, Aliwal Shoal is situated in a beautiful area of South Africa’s eastern coast. The water is almost always comfortably warm, being heated by the Aghulas current, with an abundance of marine life enjoyed by few other dive spots in the world. As a venue Aliwal Shoal offers 2 wrecks to advanced divers, the Nebo and the Produce, and consists of the dive sites Cathedral, Raggies, Howards, Inside, Outside, Eelskins, North Eastern Pinnacles, North Sands and South Sands, and Manta Point.
